Falogis Concierge Terms
Draft — not yet dated for publication
These documents are provided as preliminary business/legal drafts and have not yet been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal practitioner.
These terms explain what the Falogis Concierge sourcing service does, how requests are handled, the role of independent Marketplace Partners, and the limits of the service.
1. What Concierge is
Falogis Concierge is an assisted sourcing service. You describe what you need, and Falogis coordinates an effort to find it — either through Falogis staff or by assigning the job to an independent Marketplace Partner.
2. Sourcing assistance
Concierge is an effort-based service. It may involve searching the marketplace, contacting suppliers, comparing options, checking availability and reporting back. It is not a promise that a specific item will be found, at a specific price, within a specific time.
3. Customer support
Progress is communicated through the Concierge request record. Updates posted there are the authoritative record of the job. Internal Falogis notes about a job are not shown to customers.
4. Request handling
A submitted request is queued, may be reviewed, and may then be assigned. Falogis controls assignment and status. A request that is unclear, unlawful or outside the service may be declined or cancelled.
5. Communication
Keep communication on the platform where possible so there is a record. Be accurate about your requirements, budget and location; incomplete information is the most common cause of a failed sourcing effort.
6. Possible third-party Partners
A Concierge job may be carried out by an independent Marketplace Partner rather than by Falogis staff. Partners are approved and verified by Falogis but are not presented as Falogis employees. See the Marketplace Partner Terms.
7. Distinction between Falogis and Partners
Falogis operates the Concierge service, sets the process and assigns the job. The Partner performs the assigned work. Falogis does not warrant the goods a Partner locates, and a Partner has no authority to make commitments on behalf of Falogis.
8. Fees
A service fee may apply to a Concierge request. The fee applicable to your request is the amount recorded on the request when it is created, and it is set by Falogis, not by the assigned Partner.
9. Payment arrangements
Live payment capture is not enabled at the date of this draft. Any recorded fee is a record of the amount that applies; payment is arranged separately. Costs of the goods themselves, and any delivery or third-party charges, are additional and are agreed with the supplier.
10. Availability
Concierge coverage depends on category, location and Partner availability. Falogis may limit, pause or withdraw the service for particular categories or areas.
11. Limitations
Concierge does not provide legal, medical, financial or professional advice, does not inspect or certify goods unless expressly agreed, and does not act as an escrow or payment intermediary.
12. No guarantee of successful sourcing
Falogis does not guarantee that an item or service will be found, that it will be available at your budget, that a supplier will honour a quoted price, or that a job will be completed within any particular time.
13. Customer responsibilities
Give accurate requirements, respond to questions promptly, deal honestly with the assigned Partner, confirm completion where the job is done, and comply with the law in what you ask for.
14. Prohibited requests
Requests for prohibited items, unlawful services, counterfeit or stolen goods, or anything that would put a Partner at risk are not accepted. Restricted items may require documentation before a request can proceed. See the Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
15. Cancellations
You may cancel your request. Where work has already been carried out, a fee may remain payable in respect of that work. Falogis may cancel a request that cannot lawfully or practically be fulfilled.
16. Refunds where applicable
Because payment capture is not operational, Falogis does not currently hold Concierge funds. Where a fee has been paid by arrangement and the service was not delivered, we intend to correct the position. Refunds are not offered merely because sourcing did not produce the outcome you wanted. Any future position will follow the Payments & Refund Policy.
17. Personal-data handling
Your request details and contact information are shared with the assigned Partner only to the extent needed to perform the job, and must be used only for that purpose. See the Privacy Policy.
18. Confidentiality
Falogis and assigned Partners treat the contents of a Concierge request as confidential and use it only to deliver the service, except where disclosure is required by law.
19. Complaints
Complaints about a Concierge job or an assigned Partner can be raised through the Falogis contact page. We may review platform records and take action on Partner access, including suspension.
20. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Falogis is not liable for loss of profit or indirect or consequential loss arising from Concierge, and any liability we do have is limited to the Concierge fee applicable to the affected request. This clause requires review by a qualified legal practitioner.
21. Governing law
This draft is prepared on the basis of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where Falogis is operated from. The final governing-law and jurisdiction position is to be confirmed by a qualified legal practitioner.
Falogis is operated by F A Logistics Nigeria Limited. Questions about this draft can be sent through the Falogis contact page.
