Falogis Cookie Policy
Draft — not yet dated for publication
These documents are provided as preliminary business/legal drafts and have not yet been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal practitioner.
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage Falogis uses. Today that is limited to what is essential for sign-in and running the platform.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — store data in your browser in the same way. This policy covers both.
2. What Falogis uses today
Falogis currently uses only what is necessary to run the platform: storage that keeps you signed in, and storage the browser uses to keep the application working while you navigate. Falogis does not currently operate analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
3. Essential cookies and storage
These are required for the site to function — for example holding your session so you are not signed out on every page, and supporting core navigation. They cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
4. Authentication and session storage
When you sign in, an authentication token is stored in your browser so the platform knows who you are on subsequent requests. Signing out removes it. This is essential to any account-based feature.
5. Security
Session and authentication data are also used to protect your account — for example to detect that a request comes from a valid, current session. This is part of the essential category.
6. Preference storage
Where the platform remembers a simple choice you have made, such as a display or location preference, it may store it in your browser. This is not used to build a profile of you.
7. Analytics — not currently active
Falogis does not currently run analytics cookies or scripts. If analytics is introduced, this policy will be updated first, the provider identified, and any consent required in your market obtained.
8. Advertising — not currently active
Advertising placements on Falogis are served by the platform itself. Falogis does not currently use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it takes effect.
9. Third-party services
Signing in with a third-party provider such as Google involves that provider setting its own cookies on its own domain during sign-in, governed by that provider's policies. Falogis does not control those cookies.
10. Cookie controls
Because the storage currently in use is strictly necessary, Falogis does not present a consent banner today. If non-essential technologies are introduced, appropriate controls and, where required, a consent mechanism will be provided.
11. Browser controls
You can delete or block cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage will prevent you from signing in or using account features.
12. Current versus future functionality
This policy distinguishes deliberately between what exists now — essential authentication and session storage only — and what may exist later. Nothing here should be read as a statement that tracking technologies are already in use.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated whenever the technologies in use change, with the change taking effect only after the updated policy is published.
