Falogis Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy

1. How classification works

Every item on Falogis carries one of three classifications. A category may carry a default classification, and Falogis staff may set a classification on an individual listing that overrides the category default. Sellers cannot set, remove or weaken a classification.

• Prohibited — cannot be listed and cannot be published.
• Restricted — may require additional documentation, verification or checks before publication.
• Permitted — allowed, subject to the normal listing rules and moderation.

2. A. Prohibited

Prohibited items may not be offered on Falogis in any form, and a listing classified as prohibited cannot become publicly visible. Indicative examples, which are not exhaustive:

• Items whose sale is unlawful in the market concerned.
• Stolen goods, or goods you have no right to sell.
• Counterfeit goods and unauthorised replicas.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their components where sale is not lawfully permitted.
• Illegal drugs and controlled substances.
• Human remains, organs and protected wildlife or products made from them.
• Child sexual abuse material, and any content or service that exploits or endangers a person.
• Government or identity documents, credentials, and account access sold for misuse.
• Hacking tools, stolen data, card details, and services intended to enable fraud.
• Items or services promoting hatred, violence or unlawful discrimination.

3. B. Restricted

Restricted items may be permissible but carry additional legal, safety or verification risk. They require review, and may require licences, documentation or proof of eligibility before publication. Indicative examples, which are not exhaustive:

• Medicines, medical devices and health products.
• Alcohol, tobacco and related products where age or licensing rules apply.
• Financial products, credit, investment offers and currency exchange services.
• Firearms accessories and other regulated equipment where lawful trade is permitted.
• Chemicals, fuels and hazardous materials.
• Vehicles, vehicle parts and machinery requiring registration or roadworthiness evidence.
• Live animals and agricultural products subject to control.
• Precious metals, gemstones and high-value collectibles.
• Professional services requiring a licence or registration.
• Second-hand electronics and phones, where proof of ownership may be requested.

4. C. Permitted

Everything else is permitted, provided it complies with the Marketplace & Seller Rules, is described honestly, and is lawful in the market where it is offered. Permitted items still pass through ordinary moderation before publication.

5. Category defaults

Categories may carry a default classification and a policy note. A new listing takes its initial classification from its category. This provides a baseline so that higher-risk categories are handled carefully from the outset.

6. Listing-level classification

Falogis staff may classify an individual listing regardless of its category, because the risk often depends on the specific item rather than the category. Only authorised staff can do this, and every change is recorded internally.

7. What sellers see

A seller can see the current classification of their own listing and a short, plain-language explanation of what it means. Internal moderation notes, staff assessments and reviewer identities are not shown to sellers or to the public.

8. Rejection and removal

Falogis may reject a submission, remove a published listing, or withdraw an item at any time where it breaches this policy, the law, or the Marketplace & Seller Rules. Prohibited listings are removed from public visibility as a matter of platform policy and system enforcement.

9. Documentation for restricted items

Where a restricted classification applies, Falogis may ask for licences, registrations, certificates, proof of ownership or other evidence. A listing remains unpublished until the required evidence is provided and accepted.

10. Compliance with applicable laws

Users are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to them, including import and export rules, licensing, consumer protection, product safety and tax. Classification by Falogis is a platform decision and is not legal advice or confirmation that a sale is lawful.

11. Country-specific restrictions

This policy is intentionally framed at a general level. It is not an exhaustive worldwide list. As Falogis operates in additional markets, country-specific schedules of prohibited and restricted items will be added beneath this policy and will apply to listings offered in those markets.

12. Changes to classifications

Falogis may update category defaults and individual classifications as laws, regulations, enforcement practice and marketplace risk change. A change may affect existing listings, including previously published ones.

13. Enforcement and consequences

Attempting to list prohibited items, disguising an item to evade classification, or repeatedly breaching this policy may lead to loss of selling features, account suspension or termination, and reporting to the authorities where appropriate.

14. Reporting

If you believe an item breaches this policy, report it through the platform. Reports are reviewed by Falogis staff, and the outcome of a review is not published.
