Falogis Urgent Buyer Request Terms
Draft — not yet dated for publication
These documents are provided as preliminary business/legal drafts and have not yet been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal practitioner.
These terms explain how Urgent Buyer Requests work, what is shown publicly, and the rules that apply to subscribers who unlock requester contact details.
1. What an Urgent Buyer Request is
An Urgent Buyer Request is a request in which a buyer describes something they need and flags it as time-sensitive so that sellers and Falogis can prioritise it. Urgent flagging may be limited to eligible subscribers.
2. Information the requester submits
A title and description, an optional budget and currency, a needed-by date, the general region and area, optional photos, and contact details such as phone number, email or messaging handle.
3. Public request summaries
Once approved, a summary of the request may be shown publicly. The summary includes what is needed, the general location, the budget where given and the urgency flag. It does not include your phone number, email or messaging handle.
4. Protected requester information
Requester contact details are stored separately from the public request record and are protected at the database level. They are accessible only to the requester, authorised Falogis staff, an assigned Concierge or Partner where relevant, and eligible subscribers who unlock the request.
5. Subscriber access to eligible contact information
Subscribers with an active, unexpired paid plan may unlock the contact details attached to eligible requests. Each unlock is recorded. Access ends if the subscription expires, is cancelled or is suspended.
6. Acceptable use of requester information
Unlocked contact details may only be used to respond to that specific request. They may not be stored for unrelated marketing, added to mailing lists, shared, resold or transferred to third parties.
7. No harassment or spam
Repeated unsolicited contact, bulk messaging, abusive or threatening communication, and contacting a requester after they have asked you to stop are prohibited and may result in immediate loss of access.
8. Subscriber responsibilities
Subscribers are responsible for their own compliance with data protection and electronic marketing law when contacting requesters, and for the conduct of anyone acting on their behalf.
9. Falogis matching and sourcing assistance
Falogis may highlight requests to relevant sellers or route them for sourcing assistance. Any such assistance is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
10. Concierge involvement
A requester may ask for Concierge assistance, which may involve a service fee and the assignment of an Independent Partner. Independent Partners are not employees of Falogis. Internal staff notes on a request are not shown to the requester.
11. Request moderation
Requests are reviewed before publication and may be edited, declined or removed if they are unlawful, misleading, incomplete, or intended to harvest seller contact details.
12. Request cancellation
A requester may cancel or close a request at any time. Cancelling stops new unlocks but does not withdraw information already lawfully accessed by a subscriber.
13. Fraudulent requests
Fictitious requests, requests for prohibited items, and requests created to test, scrape or abuse the platform are prohibited and may lead to suspension and reporting to the authorities.
14. Privacy
Personal data in requests is handled under the Falogis Privacy Policy. Exact addresses are not required and should not be published in a request description.
15. Data retention
Requests, unlock records and related messages are retained for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
16. No guarantee of outcome
Falogis does not guarantee that a request will be fulfilled, that a seller will respond, or that any particular price or timeline will be met. Subscriber access to contact information does not guarantee a successful transaction.
